Body Shape & Weight
By: Jenn Malko
Everyone
looks at his or her body weight and shape. We are vain creatures. Vanity
is one of the many prices we pay for intelligence. An intelligent mind considers
things such as weight and shape. Intelligent people can figure out how good a hat
looks on their head and how well a pink shirt and green pants go together –
which is not very well, in case you were wondering. Intelligent people can also
figure out if they’re attracted to you or not and you can do the same for
them. It’s here that people who date must make a stand in the name of their
bodies
When it comes to dating, it may come as a surprise but there is an ideal body shape and weight. Each of us has an ideal weight we would like our dream mate to be. Some people like curves while others like straight lines. The shape of a person and how much you’re attracted to that shape is some complex chemical equation that your body and mind has concocted. There is a myth that what we see in magazines is what most people find attractive. Sure, models can be beautiful, but just because you can’t find your weight or shape on the cover of many magazines doesn’t mean there isn’t an audience. For example, some people will only date larger men and women. Some might call it a fetish, but in reality, a fetish is just a term for something that fewer people are into. There are others who want only to be with skinny people. Many are looking for short companions while others want partners six-feet tall and above. The ideal body is an individual choice. No matter what shape or size you come in, there are many people out there looking for your exact body type. All you need is a connection to the Internet to prove it.
Online dating is a great way to see this plan in action. Just about every site lets you post pictures of yourself along with your weight and height, whether in general or specific measurements. Search features let you bore down through the multitude of profiles so that people can find body shapes and types that appeal to them. Plus, there are sites for fit singles as well as BBW sites. All you have to do is look at our site reviews to see this. There is a large audience for whatever your body type is. You just need to tap into it.
"Goal setting is the only way you’ll ever achieve the results you seek."
We’re all self-conscious about our bodies. We all want to make changes. We all wish our noses were a bit smaller or our ears more even. The problem is that if you’re really not happy with your body, then you’re missing out on some of the more important parts of life while you sit and worry about things like shape and size. The good news is that you have the power to change what you look like if that’s what you really want. You just have to set a goal and find the means to reach it.
Try picking an ideal weight and write it down on a piece of paper. Figure out a realistic amount of progress you can make in a week towards that goal and set out how you can accomplish it. From there you have a mathematical equation that will tell you when you’ll be able to reach your goal. How does that make you feel? How will you feel when that day comes around and you have acheived your goal? Keep that feeling close at hand. Reach for it as the days arrive where you think you can’t continue. You can't win if you don't play the dating game and you can't make major life changes without first setting out how and what you want to accomplish.
You need to enjoy the shell you’re in. Hopefully you can do that the
way you are, but in some circumstances that isn’t possible. If that’s
the case, set a goal and go after it. Just remember, though, that when you reach
it, the people who would have found you attractive in your old shape and weight
will be looking for someone else. It’s all about
give and take and you shouldn’t try and change yourself until you’ve
exhausted all other options.
