There are few phrases that bring about as much change in a relationship as, ‘I don’t love you.’ For those words to come out, it usually takes some pretty extraordinary circumstances. Beyond that, your ship is sailing and you had better be on it. It will take you away from a relationship that has seen its last sunrise and set course for the bright future you have ahead. When love leaves, it’s best to seek closure and set your sites on the future.

It’s a bit of a different story if someone forced those words out of you. Again, under normal circumstances, people don’t go around telling other people that they don’t love them. Yet you’ve gone and said it and now you need to understand what happens next.
