Personals' Reviews

By: Jenn Malko

Personals ReviewsThere are many personals' review sites on the Internet, but having surfed the vast majority of them myself, I can tell you quite frankly that most aren’t worth your time. They don’t make an honest attempt to cover sites with any degree of pride and seem to carry with them a lot of prejudice. You see, review sites like ours get paid when they send traffic to dating sites. At Cupids Reviews, we don’t take into consideration who pays us the most money for our traffic. We know that there are great dating sites out there that speak for themselves and they will shine next to the competition on their own. Take a peek at what we have to offer and I think you'll see that our reviews speak for themselves. But here're some thing some things to keep in mind.

You will notice that on our site, every review has a score out of 100. Under the score you’ll see a link to our rating criteria. If you really want to get down to the nuts and bolts of how this site is put together, then you should check it out. We’ve tried to put a personals' review system together that gives an accurate picture of a site's worth. That’s not to say that a site that has received a score of 90 will be better for hooking you up with someone than a site that’s scored a 70. After all, it’s the people that make a dating site and sometimes more people are attracted to lesser entities. But the rankings will give you a good place to start as far as the reviews are concerned. Most people belong to a few dating sites because if you only hang out in one place, you will get the same people. If you join a bunch of sites, you’ll have access to more possibilities. And when it comes to dating, this is a very, very good thing.

“There are many sites that let you search profiles and send signs of interest to other members without paying a dime.”

You should pay close attention to a few particular points when searching for personals' reviews. The first point that tells the tale of a good dating site is the amount of free access you get. This is especially important if you’re new as you’ll need to take some time to get used to the way dating sites operate. You’ll need to “join” a dating site to browse its members in most cases. This usually entails filling out a handful of easy questions. Once insde, the first thing you should do is a search for people in your area. Any good dating site will allow you to conduct a search for profiles within a 100 mile radius or closer and should allow you to specify that you want to only view profiles with pictures. This will give you an idea of the selection available. Another important point here is that when the profiles come up, the site should tell you when that member was last online. I live in a major urban center so unless there’s over a hundred people in my age bracket that have been online in the last day, I give that site a pass. You’ll have to make your own decision based on your geography, but if you think there should be more people online in your area on that site, then move on to the next one and see if your luck is any better. The last major thing to consider is the amount of free access you’re given to that site. There are many sites that let you search profiles and send signs of interest to other members without paying a dime. And many of those will allow people with memberships to contact you for free. These are the best sites if you’re new to online dating and want to see what it’s all about before reaching into your wallet. Our personals' reviews will tell you which ones allow this level of access. So what are you waiting for? Get reading and good luck!
