Planning a romantic meal can be hard – especially if you don’t
know how to cook! Yet sometimes all you need is the perfect guide and
you can make miracles happen. In this case, we want a romantic dinner whipped
up from your very own kitchen! Now all you need to do is decide on what you and
your love would like to eat and get cracking. Here are some suggestions to get
you rolling.
Italian cuisine is a pleasure to the palette, largely consisting of fresh seafood and a multitude of pastas in rich sauces. We checked out Italian Food Forever and found a bunch of great recipes. Since a romantic dinner is what we’re after, we went directly to the prepared menus section. Near the bottom they have a Valentines Day menu, which sounds like it does the trick! They have a seafood version and a meat version. The meat menu starts off with risotto and asparagus before rolling into chicken marsala with garlic mashed potatoes. Following that, there’s baked fennel and ginger spice biscotti to end it off! Does it sound daunting? Don’t worry. All the recipes are there to help make this a romantic Italian dinner to remember!
When it comes to Asian cuisine, a Thai menu can be a standout. A romantic Thai meal can be whipped up easily and quickly. We went to Thai Table to find some recipes worth diving into. Start with some satay, grilled pork skewers with a peanut sauce, followed by some mushroom tom yum soup. For the main you might want to consider a classic pad thai or baked shrimp in clear noodles. If you have some room, finish the meal with mango on sticky rice. It’s not hard to put together a romantic dinner of Thai cuisine of you know where to look!
About.com’s recipe section was where we turned when the time came to find great French cuisine. You could start with a nice sausage and chicken gumbo. If fish might be a better choice for a main, you could try the baked cod with leaks and tomato or go for some Supremes de Volaille Veronique – chicken breasts and grapes! For desert, try something a little decadent like strawberries in honey and wine! These foods will add some wonderful French flare to any romantic dinner you’d like to cook!
Dining with a Greek theme can be fun. We took a look through Greek Recipes and came us with a few to make your mouth water! Start your romantic Greek dinner off with baked cherry tomatoes and feta. Get lively with your vegetables and try stuffed eggplants from Lesvos Island. For your main, try stuffed vine leaves with rice and meat and you’ll be breaking plates and yelling for ouzo in no time! A taste of Greece is only a few clicks away. Try it for a nice, romantic evening in!
You can find many different resources on the Internet that will give
you romantic dinner recipes to amaze any possible love. All it takes
is a little interest, some daring and the time it takes to cook and you’ll
