Moss and Doherty Perform Live in Ireland
What’s going on with Pete Doherty and Kate Moss? I really hadn’t cared about the pair before Ms Supermodel got shot stuffing cocaine up her nose. Now it seems that the dangerous duo is back in each others company.

Dreams for Love
I woke today, wondering where you were. We were together just moments before. I could still feel you near to me. I could smell you on my pillows. I knew what you felt like in my arms. But then they were empty.

Lest We Forget - Misery Loves Company
Memory is a funny thing. Sometimes when we discover something new that should shed light on a past event, we have a hard time letting go of how we remember things as happening.

Long Distance Love
I think the hardest love to fall for, besides a love that can’t or won’t be returned, is long distance love. You get to see a lot of this online. There are no boundaries. There are no rules of engagement. All that exists is a search page of criteria that can be tuned to as broad or narrow field as your mind can imagine--and your heart can bear. I’m always steering away from these types of relationships, but that doesn’t stop them from popping up.

Steve Irwin: A Life Better Lived
I have to tell you, I’m a little distraught over the death of Croc Hunter, Steve Irwin. The world knows he was killed in the line of duty on September 4 by a Stingray off the coast of Australia, while diving the Great Barrier Reef. He became famous as the exuberant man who wrestled reptiles and taught the world about the wild. What he was, more than that, was a man who seemed to know true love.

Eminem Mediates with Kim Mathers
Who would have thought that Eminem would divorce Kim Mathers for a second time? I really thought they had something special. Hey, I saw that movie he did. She seemed like a swell gal. He would be lucky to fall in love with the girl that was by him when he first began to make it big. It seems, though, that he has chosen a different path…

Losing a Loser is still a Loss
I recently met someone who seemed nice enough but everyone always does in the beginning. We hung out a couple of times after meeting at one of my favorite clubs. The second time when I arrived on the scene I noted my new prospect was overly flirtatious, dirty dancing not just with a few but a slew of fellows.

True Love at Dragonfly?
This past Friday, I hit the town in Niagara Falls to celebrate the birthday of a friend. You never know what to expect when heading out on a road trip. However, it’s safe to say that expectations of fun and adventure were high. We were happy to find that these expectations were definitely exceeded!

A Trip to the Falls
There’s something exciting about heading to an unknown place. It’s as if the possibilities for a good night out suddenly seem brighter, if only due to the fact that you’ve never experienced a “typical” night on the town there, as you have wherever it is you live. This weekend, a buddy and I are heading to Niagara Falls and the excitement is already starting to build…

Whitney and Bobby Split!
When it comes to celebrity couples, I don’t think I’ve seen a worse match than Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. I don’t know who the destructive influence was in the family, although most fingers seem to point to bad boy Bobby. Whatever the case, Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston are divorcing! It’s about damn time!

Dating the Stranger
How do you feel about the first conversation or meeting you have with a stranger you’ve met online? Are you one of those people who thrive on the excitement of putting chemistry to the test? Or perhaps you fear it, much like some fear public speaking? I always thought it funny that people generally fear public speaking more than death, but isn’t meeting a stranger for coffee -- or even just chatting on the phone -- a little like getting on stage and being put in the spotlight?

The Value of being Vapid?
I just read a very convoluted theory about how pointless it was to concentrate on internal qualities to find more easily an ideal mate. I'm always amused when shallow pursuits are explained by complicated means.

Toronto Film Festival - Night One
I generally try to keep my personal life out of work, but I’m a bit stuck on what to write on and had a fairly interesting night, so what the heck! I started off meeting up with an old school friend. I was early and wound up in this packed bar where a bunch of old colleagues happened to be. It was fun to catch up on the old days when I was anchoring what was billed as the webs first wireless Internet TV station. Eventually my friend showed up and the evening went on…

The Brutal Truth about Brutal Honesty
Human beings are a strange breed when it comes to intimacy in my experience. I find many people more charming to strangers than they are to their friends, family or significant others. Too many confuse a lack of consideration for another as a sign of being close to someone.

Strange Dates
Sometimes dates just don’t go the way you expect them to. I’ve had a bunch of strange dates over the years. I’ve had the dates with the people who take their pictures and redesign them to look how they would like to really look. I’ve had dates with people who don’t want to talk about anything personal, such as where they’re from, what they do for a living or what life was like growing up. I’ve even had dates where we’ve almost argued. But not all strange dates are created equal. This is what I found out from a friend of mine…

Free Date in Cuba
Getting a date in Cuba is apparently not an easy thing to do. I had a friend who went there recently. He’s a super guy with one bad ex-girlfriend. And when I say bad, I mean really bad. That’s why when he took off to Cuba, I was hoping he would end up on a few dates with some super Spanish girl. That way he could see what a great relationship was like again and not have to worry about the troubling tramp at home. Unfortunately, Cuba brings its own problems…
