Where Do Older Singles Find Love?
I have a lot of friends who are older singles and they're great people. They're successful, happy and outgoing. They have great careers, have lived interesting lives and always have lots to talk about. But for whatever reason, they've found themselves single at this time in their lives. It can be frustrating for anone to be alone and I will quite often recommend to my friends that they try out one of the great dating personals sites that are out there. They've worked for a lot of people, and there are many great stories of people finding happiness this way.

Hard Time Finding Positive Relationships?
Even though dating personals are making it easier than ever to find people with similar tastes and shared goals, positive relationships are still hard to come by and the dating scene can be discouraging. Given how hard it is to find someone with whom you're compatible, it's no wonder so many people feel stuck in bad relationships.

A Fit Bride For A Fit Friend
Well, I never thought it would happen, but this past weekend my best friend got married. He's always been a bit of a loner. Not really by choice, but he's the kind of guy that will take off for a weekend to go hiking in the mountains, or spend a morning running. There are few people that can keep up to his pace. At some point, I'm sure he must have had enough of this because he put his hat in the ring on one of the websites we took a look at here called Fitness Singles. Meeting a like-minded gal was a huge coup for my friend, Dan. His gal made the most beautiful, fit bride and the ceremony was wonderful. I was just glad they didn't make us go for a run after it was all over.

Dating A Sweet Jewish Girl
I've dated a lot of women. That's maybe not something to brag about, but for better or worse, I just haven't met someone that I feel like I want to make a lifetime commitment to yet. That's fine with me because I have a lot of fun dating a variety of women, each different than the next and wonderful in their own way. I dated a sweet Jewish girl for a while, and it was one of the most fun experiences of my life. I also felt quite pleased that she had chosen me to date and not one of the Jewish singles that her mom was always trying to set her up with.

Shall We Dance?
I wish I could dance. I can't, of course, but that doesn't stop me wishing. I don't know if you're a Frank Zappa fan, but if you ever heard the song "Dancin' Fool," you've had a musical description of what I would look like if I ever went near a dance floor. I think the song goes, "one of my legs' shorter than the other and both of my feets too long." Nope, I've really got no coordination or rhythm at all my friends. It's too bad, too, because the idea of working up a sweat on the dance floor with a beautiful lady sounds just as much fun as fitness dating.

A Preference For Big Beautiful Girls
A while back, I noticed a pattern in the kind of gal that my brother dates. None of them are skinny. They're not fit or in shape or anything that would be considered "ideally beautiful" in terms of body type. My brother's not fat, so it's not like he's limited to BBW dating. Hypocritical Interracial Gay Couples
Why is it that every time I see an interracial gay couple, the white guy is always older and the non-white guy is always in better shape? This frustrates me to no end because of the double standard that's being practiced within the gay community. We all agree it's wrong that queers are discriminated against by the heterosexual powers that be, but for some reason equality doesn't apply to race when gay dating is concerned.

So, apparently, the young British royal finally went too far and his relationship with Chelsy Davy as come to an abrupt end. I don't quite know what to say about this bit of news, but given how many people follow the lives of the British royal family I thought it would be worth a comment. Maybe it's time for all the ladies seeking fairy-tale romance to start cruising the wealthy dating sites. That can't be a bad idea, but be warned that it might not all be a party.

First Date Tips, In The Form Of Cautionary Tales
Sometimes I wonder if the inability to leave a positive image when making a first impression is a genetic trait or an affliction from the gods. It would be great if it was a clinical illness that had a name, like "bad-foot-forward disorder" or something. That way it wouldn't be my fault and there could be a whole dating personals section dedicated to people with the same problem. The long apologetic disclaimers that inevitably surface during the more trying moments of a botched date could just be assumed, ignored and, hopefully, overlooked.

Training Fit Men To Use Their Bodies
I don't get it. Could someone please explain to me why guys can spend hours at the gym every week to shape their bodies, but then no time working on how to use them? I've been with two fit men who can only be described as gym bunnies. Each of these fitness dating experiences involved a hot muscular body: strong arms, chiseled abs and pecks that stuck out further than some gals' breasts. Yet when it came to bedtime, it's as if they were trying on their bodies for the first time. They didn't know what to do or how to do it.

Finding Great Ideas For A Fun Date

Lessons Learned from a Christian Angel
The best break-up I have ever had was with a Catholic gal. I should say right off the bat that her strong religious attitudes and my secular stubbornness were main factors behind the failed relationship. However, her beliefs also played a key role in determining her behavior during the break up, which gave me a new perspective on Christian dating, not to mention a new respect for this particular Christian angel.

The Wisdom Of Chinese Mail Order Brides
I was watching the news a little while ago and there was a story about a small, one-horse town in the middle of nowhere that had just been hit by a tornado. Thankfully, no one had been killed or, for that matter, seriously hurt. This wouldn't ordinarily make me think of Chinese mail order brides, but the story focused mainly on a couple that seemed to have come together through a mail order brides site and who had suffered a lot of property damage.

Why Dating Wealthy Makes Sense
Dating wealthy sounds good doesn't it? The only way to become "old money," as they say, is to marry someone that has old money. Even then I'm not sure they let you in the club. I think marrying rich, though, is one of those fantasies that has a lot more to do with wanting to win the lottery than it does with romance. If it ever happened I'd probably spend most of my time feeling self-conscious about not pulling my own weight. Ironically though, that self consciousness is exactly why wealthy dating is starting to make sense to me.
