A Lost Asian Angel

Lost Asian Angel! It's hard these days to find a person who you feel compatible with. I mean, at the end of the day, all someone really wants is to have someone who agrees with you on the basics of life. It's nice to disagree with people, but if you're going to be in a partnership with someone it seems important to have a common focus. It's been a long time since I had that. The last time I had a relationship like that was with this Asian angel whom I spent almost a year. I'm wondering if I might be able to find someone like her on an Asian dating site, but it's probably unlikely to have that kind of thing more than once in a lifetime.

I had a great great time with my Asian angel. She was a really great partner. We agreed on many things on the kind of deep level that allows people to look toward a future together. We connected in that way where you just know that it's possible to build something that could be long lasting. Unfortunately, she was on a student visa and was unable to stay in the country.

After she left, for some reason I started checking out Asian mail-order bride sites. I'm not sure exactly what it was that I was after. Perhaps, in a very misguided way, I was attempting to recreate what I'd felt with my Asian angel with someone like her. It was, of course, an ill-fated venture and I never made any kind of advances toward any of the women I met. It's possible that in my situation I wouldn't have been able to see the good in anyone as I was just looking for exactly the type of gal that had left me.

In the end, a kiss is just a kiss, but only until someone wants that kiss to last forever. I'm not sure if one ever finds that kind of connection more than once in one's life, but I’m still pretty sure that it's worth trying. Who knows, maybe I'll find someone else that matches the intensity I had with my Asian angel.
