A Mature Guy Who Dates Every Night
I used to worry a lot about growing old. The prospect of spending my golden years sitting by my lonesome without any company has always been a big fear of mine. I no longer worry about it ever since a mature guy moved in to the apartment next door. I'm guessing he's in his late fifties or early sixties. He looks good for his age with a youthful glow around him, which is probably why he's had much success in the senior dating scene. I always see him coming home late at night accompanied by a pretty mature babe.
One day I saw him at the diner having coffee. He's probably waiting for somebody. My curiosity got the better of me, so I approached this mature guy and introduced myself. His name is James and he's teaching Literature at the university. He was married for twenty years, but his wife had died a couple of years ago. After becoming a widower he kept mostly to himself, but he realized his wife would want him to move on and enjoy his life. At first, he was hesitant about going out and meeting women because of his age, but he soon found out there are many older women out there, who are looking for single senior men. Many of them, he admitted, he met on the internet.
I had such a nice time conversing with this nice mature guy that I haven't noticed the time until James turned to wave at a sweet mature lady heading towards our table. After introductions were made and a little chit-chat, they politely excused themselves and left for poker night with other senior couples. I thought that they make a lovely pair as I was watching them leave.
The more I think about it, growing old isn't really a bad thing. It's inevitable, but it doesn't mean you have to spend your golden years single and alone. Dating for seniors isn't that hard. It's just a matter of having the courage to put your self out there for everyone to notice, which is not that much different from what other people are doing today. So for now, I'll just worry about where I'm going to take my date this Saturday night and push the thought of growing old to the back of my mind.

The dating websites that are out there for seniors just seem kind of cookie cutter and cheesy. However, a friend caught wind of a new site for sophisticated seniors. It looks like it hasn't opened yet. Does anyone know anything about it or when the website will open?
