An Asian Cutie Story
Recently, I've had the opportunity to go out on a few dates with a real Asian cutie. While not much has happened in terms of sparks flying, I do have to say that I've had some very interesting conversations with her. It's great to have someone to talk to that shares the same kind of interests and what I really like about her is that she's willing to open up about a lot of things that she has gone through. I met her on an Asian dating site that I joined after a friend of mine pointed out her profile to me.
We haven't done much else but go out for coffee and have chats. One day we went for a walk through the park near my house and I particularly enjoyed our day. We had a small picnic lunch and sat in the autumn sun and enjoyed the gold and red of the changing leaves. The more we talk, the more I realize that, as much as I like her, I don't think she is over her ex yet.
I think the thing that's really bothering her about her last breakup is that she caught her boyfriend cheating on her. So, there are two things at work here, the first being that she's probably not ready to start trusting somebody else yet. The other, and even more disappointing aspect of it for me, is that after having caught that liar in a lie, she is still not over him. I think that she was very much in love with him and it hurt this Asian cutie a lot to go through this. Of course, it would hurt anyone, but she seems to be taking it especially hard.
The last time we met I said to my Asian cutie that she might want to find a way of contacting the ex to either get some closure on this situation. It's hard to move forward and I hope she finds a way to do it.
