An Obsession With Asian Girls?
Anyone who has followed any of my posts probably already knows I have a thing for Asian girls. I can't quite pinpoint exactly what it is about Asian chicks that drives me so wild. It could just be the exotic appeal - their accents, the way they smell, the way they dress - I don't know. If that were the case, I might be just attracted to Arab chicks as well, but I'm not. After telling my friends that I had been checking out some sex dating sites to find an Asian girl to hook up with, some of them were actually quite judgmental and had some pretty interesting (if not odd) opinions on what they consider an epidemic of white guys being obsessed with ladies from the Far East.
The major objection one of my girlfriends made was that the only reason white guys like Asian girls is that they tend to be petite and smooth-skinned, which reminds the guy of a younger chick they may not be able to otherwise hook up with if they're in their late 20s. I have to admit this really is one of the reasons I love them so much! There's nothing like having a beautiful Asian girl pressed up against you.
In my defense, I argued it had little to do with a desire to date a chick who just looks young because of her ethnicity and more to do with the feeling of being "the protector" in a relationship, whether it's casual or not, because white guys tend to have larger physiques. At the same time, I had to concede that most Asian girls have small frames and all the physical attributes I love: tight butts, perky breasts and smooth complexions. The bottom line, in my opinion, is that yes, guys like to hook up with chicks who at least look younger than them. Maybe it's biological or something, but if I'm wrong, then I'm willing to bet that so are most guys.
I gave them an example of a friend of mine who dated an Asian guy for the same reasons I just mentioned (well, minus the perky breasts of course). I wasn't particularly moved by their arguments and soon found a Chinese angel who seemed like a perfect match for me. Based on her profile, her photos and our long online chats, it didn't take long for me to work up the courage to ask her out on a date. Things went exactly the way I wanted them to for our first date: she was back at my place by the end of the night and it was everything I imagined.
However, now I think I'm completely hooked and after my friends' comments, I'm left wondering whether this is a healthy preference or a misguided obsession.
