And So Begins The Search For Quality Dating Services
You'd think it would be easier, this whole dating thing. If you're anything like me, most of the people you know want pretty much the same thing and that is a relationship with little mutual respect, a little laughter and a little joy. It sounds simple. Your expectations are not unreasonable and so, you think, it shouldn't be hard. But of course it's always the simple things that seem to require the most work. You walk around mystified and spend half your time confused about what we want or what others are looking for in us. In any case, the dating scene can get frustrating and you start to hope there are some really high quality dating service out there, or some matchmaking professionals that can help you.
It's not like I want to do away with the mystique of romance or give up on the thrill of meeting someone new, but sometimes I wish I could just hand over all responsibility for my love life. Maybe I could hire a new staff writer who would be responsible for all plot and dialogue. In my dreams, you could just outsource the whole project. You would happily plod along, doing your thing, and then someone would page you. All you'd have to do is show up when things start making sense. Another great feature would be a pair of commentators, like an angel and a devil, that would sit on your shoulders and tell you what's going on when you find yourself clueless.
So, I think it's time to push the frustration aside and realize that while there are no manuals exactly, there is help. There are romance advice books, and people more savvy than I am to provide a heads up in terms of signs of flirting. There are some quality dating services out there that style themselves as matchmakers and ask you to be a little more specific about who you really are and what you're really looking for. It still won't be an absolute science, but it will help you aim straighter, weed out those little things that end up making you crazy, and make life, as it should be, a little bit easier and little more fun. Maybe, with the back up, we can all get back to having more interesting dreams.
