Can't Take a Hint?
You know who I feel sorry for? I feel bad for those can’t read signs. I really do. I’m not talking about the blind or dyslexic. I’m talking about people on dating sites. I must admit that I’ve written a long profile, and it’s difficult to get through it all – although you should if you plan on chatting with me.
In it, I state that I’m not much for chatting. Yet that doesn’t stop people who I’ve turned down from constantly hitting me up. If I have it bad, I’m sure women have it ten times worse! I try to be polite. I answer questions that are asked, but stop short of asking any in return. When an email is sent that doesn’t have a question in it, I feel I don’t have to reply. I’m off the hook. This is a good way of operating, I find, but it doesn’t work all the time. It certainly isn’t working now. Ah! I gripe! Feel free to leave your horror stories below. I do so love hearing tales from others about their online dating experiences!
