Catching a Date with Online Personals
It’s funny. I go through the news items looking for dating material, and it never ceases to amaze me how many articles are written on a weekly basis by writers about this new wonder called online dating. It seems like madness!
Catching a date through online personals seems to me as commonplace as can be. Agreed, I’m thoroughly connected in all areas of my life to the Web, but to hear them go on about a new success story where Fred and Martha met on a dating site but haven’t had the courage to tell their family where they really met is just funny. Online dating is a reality. It’s big. It’s bold. It’s here to stay! Gone are the days where you had to head out to the bars on weekends to find love. Now it’s all done from the comfort of your home or office. It’s more common than the average cold, I bet. For all you writers out there looking to cover the subject, pull your heads out of your butts. Welcome to 2006!
