Christian Mingle now Relationships.com
We just got word that ChristianMingle.com is changing its name to Relationships.com. This means it’s time to re-review. Beyond that, it’s also an interesting move. Relationships is obviously a better brand name for a dating program but it certainly lacks the same focus that a Christian-specific domain would have. When you visit the new site, there’s no getting away from the religious overtones.
The big blue fish at the top has long been a symbol of the faith. Either that, or they’re about to get a large influx of mariners looking to score a wife to take to the high seas. It’s a big move to switch domains. You work and work to get your linking partners together and then suddenly they all need to switch. It’s almost like starting over fresh. Well, fresh is what they’ll get! It’s a new paint job and picket fence. Lets just hope the core crowd of singles is happy to make the switch with them!
