Could Christian Angels Be Devils To Date?

Bookmark This Page

Dating Christian Women! The term Christian Angels is quite a loaded one in the dating world. Angel is a well-known way to refer to cute, sweet and sexy girls that come across as kind, pure and a bit innocent. It is also well-known, well beyond the dating world, that appearances can be deceiving. So, sometimes these angelic-looking sweeties can actually be real devils either in a good way (in the sack) or in a bad way (personality-wise). Sometimes, that is even part of the fun or rather the appeal. Those looking for the angelic type on Christian dating sites, though, are faced with a unique twist on this situation that could lead to problems.

Now please feel free to correct my agnostic, Eurocentric, Anglo-Saxon butt in the comments if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, while Jewish people originated the concept of angels, it was the Christians who fully developed it and Christianity is really the most associated with them. So when people looking for Christian singles specify Christian angels, it really makes one wonder just what they're looking for.

Obviously they're not actually looking to meet terrestrial manifestations of celestial beings for coffee and see where it goes from there, but the religious purity that is implied by the term Christian angels is apparent and ever-present.

It's not unthinkable that someone using the term when looking for a partner could want someone who is 100% nice and pure and doesn't have a darker side personality-wise or a kinky side in bed. While that could be made clear if someone elaborated on the type of person they were looking for in their profile, if they don't and think the term speaks for itself, they may attract someone who thinks themselves more like the current version of the angel in the dating world.

So what happens if they do, or moreover what happens when they discover that the angel in their Christian love affair is more of a devil, or to stick with the Christian imagery of a fallen angel like Lucifer? Could the relationship last? Will it fall apart on the spot?

I honestly think it might have a shot, because after all, if there is something angelic to begin with, it may really stand out and appear even more perfect now that there are parts of the angel's personality that don't fall under a halo.
