Dating StyleWhich date is the movie date? I got into a discussion with a friend tonight over taking a date to the movies. I’m a firm believer that a movie date is something that’s good around four dates down the road. He was taking a date to the movies on a second date. I think that this might be okay if your date is for a weekend and you know you have a lot of time to spend together.

In the beginning, it’s all about getting time to chat, right? Can’t do much chatting in the movies, now can you? Obviously there are times when there’s such a good connection and a desire to catch a movie that lets you bend all the rules – but how often does that happen? I can understand that it can come down to dating styles and what you’re after. Some people are just happy to be out and doing something with someone else. For me, I’m looking for the homerun. I’m looking for the one that lasts a lifetime. Nothing else will do. Coffee anyone?

I agree!

I'm on for coffee, but I'll have to resort to the teenagery ASL, etc. (that I hate)?

Haha - me too! I was thinking of adding a pic and details here. Maybe I should do that. Hmmm. 30/Male/Toronto!

Ooh, Canada. Very far, but I'm just saying that I kind of like Canada! Oh, my, colder than I am, here!

Thanks for your comments! I replied to them!

it's totally smoke and mirrors. I could fill out my profile 100 different ways. ANd I probably will rewrite it a couple times. There's just no telling what peopel are looking for. I'm fairly convinced no one's really looking for friends or to meet people, but they're (at least the women) are looking for their knight in shining arm candy and most of the men probably looking for their barbie angel in a centerfold.

I've been told a lot of the men can't help but bring up sex like first thing. Seems a lot of people are very judgmental there. ALso I think a lot of scamming going on by the match.com folks.

This makes a great first date for those people who are on the shy side.

Sincerly,
