Dating Quirks!
Online dating has some pretty interesting little quirks that come along with it. Obviously there are the quirks such as having to deal with fuzzy or edited pictures, the stretching of truth in profiles and the weirdos that come out of the woodwork looking for love or something more. But then there are the more subtly nuances. Take, for example, last night. I was cruising around on Date.com when I got a message from a friend’s sister.
Apparently someone thought we’d be a good match so she dropped me a line. It has happened a few times. People recognize me or I recognize them. It’s never turned out to much more then a little reunion of sorts. Still, it’s fun to reconnect. Being online has its quirks and this is one that I can deal with!

When I first tried online dating, I didn't tell anyone. Low and behold, after having my profile up for all of 2 days, I have my friends calling me saying, "I heard you were on Match". At first, I was a bit shy about telling people but after that, I realized there was no hiding, so I embraced it fully. Good luck with the online dating! It works!

I ran into my first high school boyfriend online -- 20 years after we'd dated the first time.
In just 13 more days we will celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary :)
Had it not been for the internet, we would likely have never reconnected.
