Dating The Rich Boss Man Sometimes Has Its Perks
It would be horrible of me to point out that one of my best friends only went on dating sites for wealthy people in order to find someone to lavish her with gifts. Thus, I will not point out that my favorite female friend, specifically the one who now resides in Los Angeles, only checks out online personals just to find rich people to spoil her with gifts. I also won't mention Amanda by name, let alone specify that she just found out her rich boss man is on one such website. Doing so would just be mean, even if mildly hilarious.
She Who Shall Not Be Named On Record (but off the record, in case you missed it, her name is Amanda) likes all kinds of guys, to the point where she worked in the adult entertainment industry a few years back as a means of getting paid to explore her sexuality. Wanting more than just cash and sex, as well as tired of the constant slurs being sent her way, my rich and sexy friend eventually went back to just being sexy.
However, she did miss the disposable income, as well as being around men who had the financial means to vintage wine and five-star dine her on a regular basis. At first she was ashamed to admit this, but then she heard another mutual friend (who did very well for herself on the stock market) was meeting wealthy single men on the Internet. Intrigued, "Not" Amanda also made an account.
One of the first profiles she came across was that of her rich boss man. And I don't just mean her supervisor, either, I mean the guy in charge of her entire company. Terrified, she started off with a simple hello message focusing on how much of a coincidence it was that they'd both be on that site.
He answered back, admitting he was a little weary to see her listing an income of over $100,000 a year when she was just his subordinate's assistant's secretary. She answered that the info was derived from investments made with her previous job's income combined with her current salary. Curious about her investment success, he asked her out on a business lunch.
Lunch was coincidentally followed up by an employee outing later that week, as well as to a dinner between just the two of them the week after. The next date included two weeks in the Bahamas where she put her past job skills to good use. Now she's the rich boss man's personal secretary and rumor has it that the office blinds are closed a lot more than usual around lunch time.
