Email Overload
I have way too many emails in my inbox on a dating site I belong to. It’s crazy! The problem is compounded by the fact that I say in my profile that I will respond to everyone who writes. I dug myself into a hole from which there is no escape. I wonder how many days you can get away with not responding to an email before it becomes rude? Normally I’d say a day or two, unless you have some good excuse, like you were away on vacation. I’d use that, but I’ve logged in and out a number of times over the past few days, so although I’m not responding to emails, it’s easy to tell that I’ve been online. How rude I must look!
Well, today is the not the day for me to catch up. Instead, I’m going to tour some of the other websites like True and Eharmony so that I can crank up the my emails there so come the weekend, all I will be doing is the same thing I’ve been doing all week . . . cranking it out, one keystroke at a time.
