Friday Night - Get Your Date On!
It's Friday night and it’s time to get your date on! I remember the days when I couldn’t be sitting home on a Tuesday night, let alone a Friday. The only thing that mattered was getting out with friends and seeing what trouble we could get up to. A Friday night in meant certain death. The only possible excuse could be that my car wasn’t working and nobody could make the trip to get me.
I’ve always lived in suburbia, so it was possible that I could miss a night out. I may have missed one Friday night in a whole year back in those days. Life just wasn’t worth living if you weren’t out on the town. These days, things seem to be moving much slower. I look forward to a night in and usually only plan for one night out a week out tops. This weekend I might actually get out on a date. If so, it will be the first I’ve been on with someone I met online in about six months. Let’s hope I still remember how it’s supposed to go!
