Gimme A Love Gadget!

GPS Love GadgetsHave you heard about those machines you can get that tell you when you’re in close proximity to another single person who is also armed with a similar device? I heard about these years ago. Someone said they were very popular in Japan, although I don’t know if I’ve ever seen one. However, that doesn’t stop me from wanting one. I think they’re a great idea. GPS for single people! I just wonder how that would work.

You’re standing in the frit department feeling your peaches when suddenly your little machine goes off in your pocket. Does it vibrate? Perhaps it gives off a sound – something like a soft purrrrrr. You quickly look left and right. Both sides are filled with perspective singles, yet nobody really up your ally. Then, across the isle, by the bananas, you spot a possible match. Maybe he or she is fumbling around trying to shut their device off. Or maybe they’re frantically trying to get at it to tell them if that babe by the peaches is ready for romance. Would it tell you exactly where they are? Possible single connection ten yards to the north! Then, once you had determined where that single person was, you’d be left with the approach. Well, at least you’d already have common ground. “Funny how these things go off in such strange places!” you say, watching as they giggle uncomfortably. It would be the equivalent of the online dating question, “So, have you had any luck on here?” Then you’d be left to struggle through the moment, left to nothing but your wits. I’d love to get one if they became popular around here, but I still take online dating over those gadgets any day of the week. Speaking of, I think I have a site or two to visit…

When you find out where to get one, let me know!! Also, how do these gadgets differentiate between male/female users??

The best item to identify married people is a wedding ring. Those who are not married can be single so look at the hands!

Then the device may help when you are not sure. Could be fun!

Hey Wendy, I'll let ya know for sure!

And I agree, Julia. Rings speak volumes. I love watching friends of mine hit on people in bars without paying attention ot the ring finger. THAT'S a hoot!
