Give Beautiful Mail Order Brides A Chance
The mail order bride industry has gotten a lot of flack from feminists and social activist groups who view it as a form of exploitation where women are being treated as commodities. The release of the Nicole Kidman movie Birthday Girl didn't help at all when it portrayed beautiful mail order brides as scam artists out to squeeze every penny from unsuspecting affluent Americans. In spite of all these negative perceptions about mail order brides, I believe it's really not that different from the finest dating sites on the internet. The only difference is that guys who use this service are assured of ending up with the beautiful girl of their pick. You don't have to go through the hassles of being stood up on the first date or having a relationship fall apart after investing your time and effort, not to mention your emotions in it.
Given that these beautiful mail order brides come from foreign countries and see this as a way out of poverty, it doesn't necessarily mean that they're only in it for the money. These are hard times and even the more wealthy nations are feeling the crunch. Is it wrong for a girl to look for financial security along with the hopes of perhaps finding a man to love and cherish for the rest of her life? I know for a fact that many of these arrangements turned out beautifully with happy couples living a perfectly normal life in spite of the circumstances surrounding their marriage.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that the people who are against this practice may have a point, but when you look at it in an unbiased light, you'll see that it's really not such a bad thing. Just like you and me, these beautiful mail order brides are also looking for someone to share a long-term relationship with. It doesn't matter if she ends up with a not-so-wealthy man as long as he can provide her with all the love and security she needs. What it all comes down to is that mail order bride services is just another avenue for a girl to fulfill her dreams of finding a man to spend the rest of her life with.
