Gothic Grumble
You have to wonder how much good business translates into good service. I began to wonder this last week after contacting support at Gothic Match. I had approached them for a simple link exchange. They had written back, agreeing to the terms, and so I thought things were set.
We added their link to the appropriate location and dropped them a line letting them know that it was up. Suddenly there was no response. Since that time, I’ve dropped them another two letters. It’s been two weeks and still no response. Yes, we’ve taken down their link, but one has to wonder if this behavior translates into deeper support issues. What would happen if you were trying to cancel your membership – would they be unreachable then, too? What if you were receiving harassing emails from someone on the site – would there be no support to keep the crackpots at bay? Maybe this was an honest mistake. Maybe their email has been broken for weeks and everyone there is left twiddling their thumbs. Whatever the case, it’s one of those things that make you think. With the dating industry being as competitive as it is, I certainly wouldn’t want things slipping through the cracks like this. It’s all too easy to stroll over to the competitions site and odds are they’re going to be prepared to keep the business that finds their way there!

Does anyone know of any websites where you get a response to your inquiry? Looking for a good site that not only has great people on the backend, but also great matches to choose from. Please notify me of any such sites.
