Now that I'm on my third rewrite, I still don't think I have a chance of matching mature personals. I've never been much of a writer, so I contacted a mature babe who had a great profile. She was more than happy to give me tips on writing an online personals profile. While she had some great tips, I discovered my problem was that I wasn't entirely sure of what women want to know about a guy. Therefore, I took advice from another woman who told me to research before you write anything that's going to appear on your profile.

Of course, I have all of the basics covered. It's no lie when I say that I'm a sensitive guy who is good looking and in pretty decent shape, but that alone took me less than a sentence to write, so you see my problem. Things that I took for granted, like the fact that I love cooking, would rather stay in and watch a romantic comedy than go to a club (it's not that I love romantic comedies - it's more of a "rock-and-a-hard-place" type of preference), love long walks at night when it's snowing and so many more, are now on my profile.

It certainly seems to have made a difference, too! This morning I had four messages waiting for me and I owe at least part of it to the fact that I tried to recreate my profile based on all of the mature personals I had come across. Now, armed with a great profile, I'm just going to sit back and wait for the perfect woman to message me and ask to go out for a drink. If you're having any trouble getting responses, checking out some mature personals and tweaking your profile may just be the way to go.
