Illinois Passes Dating Law
Just when you think you’re out in the clear, Illinois comes along and spends a lot of government time and money on one of the silliest laws I’ve seen in recent years. They passed a law that says dating sites must tell residents of the state whether or not they perform background checks on members. How silly is that!
So if you’re a resident of Illinois and you join up for Match, you may receive a message saying that they haven’t checked for Peter the pedophile or Betty the notorious bank robber. What gives? Not a lot, apparently. Just so we’re clear, I’m against any background checks on dating sites. Personally, it doesn’t affect me. I think those charges are now off my record – whew! But for other folk, I think it’s an unreasonable invasion of their privacy. Yes, I agree that we’d all be better off without those people using dating sites, but it’s just too much of a slippery slope. I prefer to know that my personal information will be protected from dating companies, especially considering that not all are run by the most respectable of citizens. Besides, I kind of like the rush of showing up for a date where there’s a possibility I could be going out with an infamous con whose out of jail on a weekend pass!

Illinois hasn't passed any background check dating law YET! None of the states have.
The lawmakers in Illinois have been notified of the deceptive and sleazy business practices of True.com and Herb Vest.
Vest doesn't care if the law passes or not. Vest just wants his site to be branded the safer and caring website. Which is a lie.
Vest patient is to get every site out their carrying its link. Then his site shows up over and over. These sites don't know who they are and that they are crooks and sleazy.
Vest said everyone has to take their test. That is where he is ripping people off.
DO NOT TAKE THE TEST AND DO NOT GIVE ANY CREDIT CARDS OR INFORMATION. TRUE USES THIS INFO TO RACIAL PROFILE. YOU HAVE TO GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD TO GET THE "FREE TRAIL" THEY WILL BILL YOU AND YOU cannot GET THEM TO STOP FOR MONTHS.
That is how they are making any money by ripping people off and lying to them
Vest doesn't disclose why and what he is doing with your information from the tests. Nor doe he disclose that the tests do not calculate correctly and are not reliable. Vest doesn't disclose that when you sign on for your "FREE TRAIL" The winks are not generated from users, but from True employees trying to get you to sign up!
True is sleazy. Ads exploit women with nearly naked women with a banner across their privates.
Vest is hiding his own background of womanizing and sexual harassment claims. Vest cheated on his 2nd wife with a prostitute. He cheated on his fiancee with the girl he did married and several others. Vest has lied to the court about the lawsuit filed by the ex-fiancee. I have the documents from the lawsuit. It is very damaging to Vest. Details of Abuse, cheating, illegal actives, perverted sexual behavior. No wonder Vest is trying to seal the case. Not only is the case coming up on appeal very soon. There is a book in the works with an option for a movie by a very well know person.
Actually Vest paid for this wife. Turns out he was warned she was after his money. You get what you pay for!!
