Internet Relationships: Losing The Connection

Internet Dating Problems! When your Internet connection is your umbilical cord to the dating scene, what do you do when it fails? Over the years I've come to take sex dating sites for granted and didn't realize just how much I relied on them until my connection went dead last week for a good four days. I had met a gorgeous, intelligent girl online a couple of weeks ago and it was becoming one of the better Internet relationships I'd had in a long while.

After many sleepless nights chatting and sending racy messages back and forth, we finally agreed to meet up. In fact, we were so eager to see each other that we forgot - or didn't bother - to exchange phone numbers. It seems she takes the convenience of Internet relationships for granted just as much as I do! With a place and time to meet, though, I figured there was nothing to worry about. To some extent, that was true. We both knew we were after something casual and when we were last online, she sent me a message that made it clear what she was looking for the night of our date.

The date went spectacularly well. We hit it off from the get-go and after dinner and drinks we were back at my place and things got hot and steamy very quickly. Long story short: it looked like this was going to become one of the better sexual relationships I'd had in a long time. The chemistry was perfect. Out of all the online encounters I've had, I never thought something so intense could come out of instant messaging and online dating!

She left early the next morning for work and once again, neither of us thought to exchange phone numbers. Then my Internet cut out. I had said I would get in touch with her later that night once she was off work and all things considered, I can't really blame her for thinking I'm the kind of guy just looking for sex and nothing more. My connection was fixed this morning and of course, I sent her a message as soon as I could, but it looks like my chances have been ruined by my Internet service provider.
