Is There Such A Thing As A Lesbian Man?

Man Seeking Lesbian Woman! The Internet is a pretty useful tool when it comes to finding information on just about everything. Some of the stuff you'll see can be very interesting, some is amusing and there are times when you come across something that's downright confusing. For me, finding a male profile in a lesbian dating site belongs to the latter. This was the first time I encountered a guy, claiming to be a lesbian guy, looking for a pretty lesbian girl for a long-term relationship. It makes me wonder. Is there really such a thing as a lesbian man? If there is, how do you define what a lesbian man really is?

I've often heard of gay men stating that they're really women trapped in a man's body, but the concept of a lesbian man is something I find hard to understand. Isn't it that heterosexual guys and homosexual girls both want to be with a hot beautiful woman? Then what is it that sets this guy apart from other men? Is it because he prefers to go out with hot lesbian babes? That would certainly be a challenging task since most lesbians wouldn't be open to dating a man even if he thinks he's a lesbian at heart. I know a lot of guys find lesbian girls hot and I'm wondering if this is just a strategy of getting a cute lesbian chick in the sack.

On the other hand, maybe he's just like Thomas Beatie, who's more popularly known as the "pregnant man". He's a lesbian transgender who attracted controversy when he decided to take on the responsibility of pregnancy for his partner who has troubles conceiving a child. He has legally changed his gender after having an operation and he has been living his life as a man. It's certainly a more probable explanation than the lesbian trapped in a man's body theory, but I have the feeling that is not the case with this guy.

At any rate, I'd love to sit down with this guy so I can pick his brains and find out just what it is that makes him a lesbian man because in all honesty, all this thinking is making my head hurt and I'm still just as confused as before.
