Jewish Match Dating Site Members

When I see a dating site that seems to have few active members, I always wonder if it’s because they’re new, because they don’t know how to market themselves or because they just plain suck. I can easily tell a crappy site after I’ve done a review. You get to know the features to look for, the price points that are appropriate and the subtle signs that tell you there are people genuinely interested in making it work.

Last week I reviewed Jewish Match. For those that follow Alexa rankings, it rates around the 300k mark. That tells me both something and nothing all at the same time. Although certainly not set in stone, I know off the bat that the site has yet to make any waves. I signed up and logged on and found most of the features were standard in how they looked and felt. The problem became evident, though, after running a search for members. I searched for men and women in the United States and first page results came back with members who hadn’t been online in over three months. This means that only about ten people were really using the site. It’s good to review sites like this. It helps the good ones stick out more. Still, you can’t help but feel a little sad for a dating site that just isn’t getting the lovin that makes the dating industry go round.
