Juggling Dates

Bookmark This Page

When it rains, it pours. That was the message I received from a friend this past weekend while we hovered around a piano bar in downtown Toronto. It seems he’s gone and got himself into a bit of a pickle on Friend Finder. He went from a relatively calm dating card to juggling three prospects at once. This is the luck with online dating. You may not meet a single person for months, or even years, and then suddenly you find yourself wrestling time from your schedule just so you can take a stab at romance.

It can be hard enough trying to find time to date one person, let alone three. Added to this is that the guy is a genuinely nice guy and he would do anything to make them all happy. This is just to say that pulling the plug isn’t one of his strong suits. So now he’s left with the big decision: to break it off or continue until they end it with him. The obvious problem with this is that unless you’re independently wealthy and retired, this is just a candle burning ferociously away at both ends . . . and from the inside out, too! His dates will eventually tire of the run-around or a more definitive answer may come their way in the form of a new stranger. The real danger of the juggle comes from losing the one that you really like and would make the best match with. We’re about to see if those lessons at clown school will pay themselves off. Good luck with your balls!

Juggling dates is awesome! It adds more challenge to the dating process - "extreme dating." I highly recommend it, even if you're poor and busy in life.
