Lance And Ashley: Will They Be Living-Strong?

Lance And Ashley: Will They Be Living-Strong?In the celebrity world, some matches seems so incongruous that you wonder if famous people find each other on dating personals, matched by some obscure common interest. It's probably more likely that once you're in a celebrity social bracket that you tend to circulate in crowd that, when you think about it, isn't really that large. Either way, I have to say I was pretty surprised to find out that Lance Armstrong and Ashley Olsen were seen warming up to each other.

It's not that they don't seem to be a good match. I know nothing about what they look for in other people, so I really shouldn't comment. It's just that you wouldn't ordinarily imagine that Tour de France heroes and Hollywood celebrities would have that many opportunities to interact.

You may remember Ashley Olsen from the TV-series Full House where she and her twin sister both played the role of Michelle Tanner. It's been quite a while since the Full House series, but the sisters have remained very much in the eye of the media. Case in point: Ashley was recently seen hanging out in a New York bar with Lance Armstrong.

Lance Armstrong, I suppose, needs no introduction, especially if you're a cycling fan. The man has won the Tour de France a total of seven times in row. The last one in 2005 he won while beating testicular cancer. As if that weren't enough to make the man a household hero, he is also famous for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and its eye-catching "Livestrong" wrist-bands. The foundation is reported to have raised over $60 Million for cancer research. With this resume, he and his new lady-friend might well become the latest and hottest celebrity couple.

With all the hype and attention that follows new celebrity couples, it has to be hard for people this famous to get enough private time together. All the comments must be stressful. These two seem to deserve a little peace and happiness though, so let's hope it goes well for them.
