Lovemaking Positions 101

Love Making Positions 101!Have you ever wondered how many lovemaking positions there are? I have and I've done my best to find out. I have to tell you, though, that you should be careful, because some of these positions can be very tricky. Some people should consult with a physician before attempting certain lovemaking positions. If you're single and want to try something adventurous, then maybe you should sign up for a sex dating site and meet someone who's as exploratory as you are.

Now, how do I know all about these sexual positions? It's kind of embarrassing actually. I had a girlfriend a few years ago whose parents had a cabin near the mountains. One weekend we went out there, just the two of us, to spend a romantic weekend together. It's a great log cabin in a very beautiful part of the world. They've had it for quite a few years, and they use it often enough that they've accumulated some stuff there over time. One of the first things I did was check out their library to see what kind of books my girlfriend's parents had and whether or not I could find something to read one afternoon. Lo and behold, I found amongst their collection of books the Kama Sutra and The Joy of Sex.

Looking through the books I was a little bit uncomfortable. I'm obviously not prudish, but I was a bit disturbed. The thought of her parents having these books and doing all these lovemaking positions kind of wigged me out a little bit, but then I have an overactive imagination at the best of times. Nevertheless, I was intrigued and am kind of glad that I took the time to look through them.

In fact, my girlfriend and I made a weekend out of trying as many of the sexual positions in the books as we could. There are lots of instructions, diagrams of lovemaking positions and pictures of people kissing and the like. If you've never seen either of these books before, I highly recommend them for spicing up your love life. Even if it's already fun, it doesn't hurt to learn a little bit more about how to please your partner.
