Loving Troj/Erazer-A
Well, it looks like our love songs are in serious jeopardy. The danger lies in a virus that promises to cripple your computer and lay a beating on certain files. The malicious file is called Troj/Erazer-A. It is seen by some to provide more of a community service than anything else. Those people are largely those who understand the damage peer-to-peer networks have caused.
You see, this virus first disables your security system and then goes to work deleting what’s in your P2P directories. Along with your collection of “tunes for magical romance,” users also lose porn and warez files that may be in there. Have you downloaded little Mikey’s birthday video or an MP3 of Sheri’s big singing debut? Yep, they’re gone, too! Anyway, this is just a warning to let you know that the file is out there and that you should be careful when surfing P2P networks for whatever your heart desires. Now it’s time to get back to the business of love!
