Ms. Money Bags
I have a girlfriend who thinks she needs a big bank account to land the man of her dreams. This is really odd. Normally it’s guys who have this problem, but she’s hell-bent on building her stash of coins so that she can – for lack of a better, less-specific term – buy herself the man of her dreams. It’s really sad. I take it she suffers from low self-esteem and a few personality glitches that a number of men may seem to be faults as opposed to “extra features.”
Didn’t she get the memo about girl-power and the potent potential of the sex card that women can play? I thought they took every girl aside at the age of 10 and taught them this. Women have natural power. They don’t need money to get men. And that doesn’t even scratch the surface of the issue about what kinds of men are simply attracted to money! Help! What do I tell her that won’t end up leading to me getting slapped in the face?
