Uncovering Muslim Girls
When I was still in college, I had three female classmates who happened to be Muslims. Tasnem was cute and petite, Baimuna was tall and really pretty and Aliyya was a goddess and she drew people's attention whenever she entered the room. I always thought these three Muslim girls were really pretty, but me being a bit naive at the time, always wondered why they didn't come to class wearing their standard hijabs. Maybe because Muslim dating would be easier if they wore their street clothes? Most of our Muslim female faculty went to work wearing something to cover their hair, but not these three girls.

The Muslim Mistress Who Became A Wife
It may sound a little cold, but I feel that it's human nature that people will frequently see others in the same category or fulfilling the same function that they did when they first met them. Someone breaking this mould is always something that impresses me. Such was the case with my friend, we'll call him Eddie and his Muslim Mistress. Yes, Eddie was married and had a mistress on the side. He hadn't particularly been looking for Muslim singles, but rather searching for company on a Milwaukee dating site because that's where he lived at the time and they just hit it off.

Finding A Good Muslim Dating Service
I'm not a Muslim. In fact, I'm not a Christian either, at least not a practicing one. When it comes to religion, I try to keep it out of my daily life and it rarely enters into my dating life, except with my last girlfriend, but that's a story for another time. You could imagine my surprise when the other day a friend of mine, who knows me pretty well, asked if I could recommend a Muslim dating service for him. While I'm sort of a dating guru to my friends, I've never tried dating Muslims. This is not out of any type of bias on my part, just the way things have turned out until now.

A Muslim Bride For You
There are more than a few things that can go wrong when getting married, but can you imagine if you were on your way to see your friend marry his Muslim bride, and then were falsely accused of being a terrorist and sent to prison for three years? This is the subject of a recent film called "The Road to Guantanamo" that explores the best and worst in human nature. It also gives us a glimpse into the lives of a few men that could just as easily have been on a Muslim dating site as involved in a debacle like this.

Muslim Fantasy Made Reality By Court
If there is anyone looking to have a helping of poetic justice added to their romantic life they might consider searching for love on a Muslim Dating site. I caught an article in the BBC the other day that reported that an Iranian man had his apartment confiscated because he was unable to deliver 126,000 long-stemmed roses to his wife. I suppose that a boat-load of roses isn't specifically a Muslim fantasy, but I don't know of anyone else getting a court-ordered delivery.

Straight Advice For A Beautiful Muslim Girl
It's rare that we'll post letters from our readers, but I've gotten a few letters recently that have hit on a similar subject matter, so I wanted to share this one. I hope that my response will be of help.
Dear Mark John,
I am a beautiful Muslim girl who has been having difficulty finding men to date in my area. I know that it is hard for most people, but my situation seems to make it very difficult. I cannot date persons who are non-Muslim, as nice as they may be and even though I do meet Muslim men, I have not yet met anyone that I would like to pursue a relationship with. Are there dating sites that cater specifically to Muslims?

Well, LM, I have to say that you're right. It's difficult for all of us, regardless of our backgrounds, but there are definitely Muslim dating sites that cater specifically to persons like yourself. It seems sad that a beautiful Muslim girl like yourself should have such difficulty finding a suitable partner.

Hot Muslim Woman Demonstrates Ignorance Of Cupid's Dating Blog Writer
A woman by the name of Hamassa Kohistani has teemed up with the BBC to demonstrate, once again, that I really don't know what I'm talking about. Hamassa is exactly the kind of hot Muslim woman one would hope to find on a Muslim dating site. Although, it would be hard to believe she's unattached and, even if she is, she probably spends most of her day turning down marriage proposals so she can get back to the issues she really cares about. I think you would really have to have the best of all the internet dating profiles to catch her eye and it would have to involve the words "teacher" or "charity organizer" in it somewhere.

Interesting Stories About Muslim Beauty
The great thing about living in a big city is that you have the opportunity to meet people from many different cultures. The strange thing about writing dating blogs is that you start seeing stories everywhere, even when you're casually talking to your friends. Hot Muslim Guys
I was talking about Muslim dating sites and hot Muslim guys with my Lebanese friend and she told me an interesting thing about Islam. Apparently, men (maybe this goes for women, too, but I don't know) have to be completely clean in order to pray. This means they can't talk to God unless they've washed their hands. The cleansing process is a little more in-depth than simply washing your hands though. The entire body has to be clean. My friend joked that even if a guy has cleaned properly and then accidentally farts, he's got to go through the process all over again before he can pray.

Looking For Those Pretty Muslims
The Internet has shrunk this world down to size. This seems a little dizzying at times - I know that when I fly across this continent or keep up communication with people on opposing sides of North America, I have this weird vertigo feeling, as if flying three thousand miles is the equivalent of going on a longish road trip. International communities, including the Muslim world, now have access to dating potential that was hitherto unimaginable. There is no need to let little details like "oceans" and "ten thousand mile distances" interfere with pretty Muslims who are looking to enhance their dating choices. Muslim dating has experienced a surge in popularity in recent years (well, along with virtually every other ethnic category that you can think of).
