No Dating News
I get news alerts for various dating industry search terms delivered to my mailbox. I use them to update the dating news section on Cupids Dating Site Reviews. I have all kinds of terms I watch, including online dating, match.com, dating site and a slew of others. When the site first started, there seemed to be an endless amount of information. Everyone wanted to know about online dating and the media were only too willing to pump out piece after piece to feed the need.
These days, my inbox is filled mostly with dating crud—press releases and the same redundant material I’ve posted for the past couple of years. I don’t know if it’s a sign that things arte changing, that online dating is now more mainstream than a novelty, or if it’s just a slow season for dating news. It is the summer, after all, and it’s much more fun to be outside playing than inside writing digital copy. Yet here I am, writing away, but this time it seems I’m actually writing about nothing at all . . .

Lack of news is due to the season also. People meet offline and enjoy themselves.
Besides, there's really a change in dating news and updaes. There are mostly press releases about new sites and new features at famous sites.
New techniques are not presented so widely as it was before. I suppose the reason is that this online business has become widely spread and people know it very well. They like to register at online dating sites and for site administrator there's no need to invent something new for the first time of running a site.
