Sadly Seduced
I was reading comments left by people on our reviews today. It’s interesting to see how vocal some people can get! It’s not that I blame them. I’ve seen so many scams online that I’m surprised I can stay as positive about it as I do. Many of those that left comments, though, had lost their positive energy. They had been burned on sex sites, whether it was by a site that made them sign up only to find very little luck on the inside, or by fake profiles targeting them to ensure they kept paying.
Some were mad at the review because it didn’t tell them that this was a problem on the site. I felt bad for a minute or so but then I started thinking. Sites that sell sex are selling fools gold to begin with. It’s common knowledge that men have a higher interest in sex than women. I would expect the ratio of men to be in the neighborhood of 1000:1. I would never expect to find a good connection on there, even if I wanted to – which I don’t. How is it that other guys don’t have a clue? The most vocal comments were on Adult Friend Finder. And although I don’t believe that these sites are really good for anyone, I do know of one female colleague that was on it. I wouldn’t have touched her with a ten-foot pole, but I’m sure other people would. Do women frequent sex sites? I’d say sure. Will you be able to find them from the fake profiles set up by the site? It just depends on how long you’re willing to fish and what kind of catch you’d be okay with having on your pole. Eeeek!
