Spending Fall Alone
I love Fall! It’s finally here . . . the nights that get dark early, the leaves rustling along the ground and the cold air that means I only have to open my window to make it so cold I need to wrap myself up tight in m duvet. This is fantastic! Now there is one whole problem with Fall that I still have yet to conquer. I’m still single! Don’t you enjoy it more when you come in at night and snuggle up close to someone while you watch TV or read a book?
Isn’t it better when Thanksgiving dinner can involve a turkey simply because one is too big for a single person to eat alone? Wouldn’t it be nice to take a drive in the country to see the leaves and not have to talk to yourself for the whole trip? These are the things that I miss when I spend Fall alone. It’s been a long time since I had a serious girlfriend over this season. Here’s hoping that this problem solves itself come winters day.

Well put. I love fall, as well--easily my favorite season.
I associate fall with romance, too, though not for the same reason (you list some fine ones, but there are just as many good reasons not to be single in Sping, Summer, and Winter). I think I've just seen more of my own relationships start in the fall than at any other time.

Maybe this Fall will see the start of something new, too? I'm hoping so . . . but there's only so much time left!

Fall was always the time I dreaded most. But having gotten married two years ago, I don't dread it quite so much anymore.
It always seemed like Fall would bring with it a degree of depression that only the brightness of spring could wisk away.
Hopefully many more will find that special someone to curl up with this year :)
Great post by the way!
