Something You Don't See Often In Romance Novels
When it comes to love and relationships, romance novels aren't really the best resources that can be used as a reference. More often than not, they paint a very idealistic picture on what love is supposed to be. It has to be between an attractive man and woman caught up in a frenzied passion of love and lust that frequently ends up in several chapters of steamy lovemaking filled with euphemisms for certain body parts and the act of copulation. If you grab a romance novel off a used bookstore shelf and lay it out on its spine, chances are it will open to the most read portion which is usually where the dirty parts are. With all the sex going on in these books, I wonder if any of the characters contracted anything infectious like herpes or syphilis. A touch of STD dating in a romantic love story would be very interesting.

Relationship Problems And Finding Solutions
Every problem has a solution; if it doesn't have a solution, then it's not a problem. This is a statement that I have found to be very helpful. It may sound funny at first, but believe me, I always keep this in mind whenever I'm dishing out advice on relationship problems. When you think about it, there really are solutions to everything if you just look for it hard enough. There are self-help resources online for almost anything. There are even STD dating sites for infected people looking for love and relationships.

The biggest problem for a person suffering from a communicable disease is usually not the illness itself or the medical expenses. More often than not, it's the feeling of hopelessness and sadness that weighs them down realizing that their condition is a hindrance to having meaningful love and relationships with other people, let alone find acceptance. One bad decision can lead to a lifetime of difficulties, unless one approaches dating with open eyes and realizes how many other wonderful people in the world there are in similar situations. Relationship Stories, Baggage And Other Bad Hangovers
If you've had relationships, then you have relationship stories and probably more than a few of them are bad. It can be hard to get over unpleasant events and rough relationships and, even when things are going well, it's hard to shake off old assumptions and habitual ways of thinking. Still, most us have the kind of baggage that we can learn to get over. Some people have a worse time of it though. Some relationships leave you with more lasting, physical ailments. It's hard to begin something new when you have to begin by explaining all your past relationships. It's a lot easier you can talk to someone with similar relationships stories.
