Taking it Off
I feel like I want to take myself offline. What the heck is wrong with me?
I’m always the one saying that anyone who is single needs to be online. You can’t land a fish if you don’t have your line in the water, right? Well here I am saying that I could use a break! I think my motivations are simple. I have a lot going on in life right now. I’m busy with work and my social calendar is about as full as I’d like it to be.
When I do have free time, I want to get away from the computer and relax . . . watch a movie . . . read a book . . . sleep! But then I give myself a shake. What happens if I pull my profile and Ms. Right happens to be gliding by while I’m off. What then? It’s hard meeting someone you can click with for a lifetime and can I really afford to pass up that chance. Heck, I don’t know about you, but love is important to me. Since that’s the way of it, I think I’ll just have to put up and shut up. My profile stays. But here’s hoping Ms Right finds it sometime really, really soon!

Sounds like you're just about there! Just when you think about giving up and hanging it up, that's when it usually happens. I never ever believed it, but it happened to me :)
