Understanding Women In Relationships
Someone once asked me how come some guys are good at matchmaking while a vast majority of men don't have a clue when it comes to pairing up compatible partners. My honest answer to that would be that it's intuition and that there are some things that you just instantly know, sort of like a light bulb lighting up in your head or hearing the sound of church bells ringing in the distance. I wouldn't go so far as to say that I see sparks flying between two people though. Of course, it would sound like something from a new age book, so I took the rational approach and simply stated that it's all about understanding women in relationships.
Before I get any violent reaction from the ladies, I'd like to add that it also involves understanding men as well. Since I'm a member of the male species, it's highly unlikely that I'd be having trouble in that department. With that said, understanding women in relationships is something that is somewhat difficult for a man especially if he has been single for a very long time, batting zero and loving it. Just like what they always say, experience is the best teacher and it took several failed relationships for this not-so-reluctant matchmaker to finally see the light.
So what did I learn from all of my past experiences? It is that understanding women in relationships takes a lot of patience. There are times when you can't help but be frustrated, but that's okay. Where's the fun of discovery when you know what a woman wants right off the bat? I'm sure it would just lead to boredom once the initial force of attraction wears off.
The truth is there isn't really a foolproof way of knowing what a person wants. Each and every one of us grew up with different sets of values, which is why it's difficult to know specifically what a man and a woman look for when it comes to having a relationship. I wish there was some kind of map or a blueprint or that I could even come up with my own love test that could tell me these kinds of things, but all I have right now are my gut instincts and my fingers crossed behind my back.
