What's On Your Walls?

What's on your walls?Could what a person puts on their walls turn you off completely? Obviously, the more money you have, the easier it is to find things to make your place look pretty. You move from your college days with posters on your walls to pictures that actually have frames, although they may not be able to be removed from them! Eventually you graduate again to pictures with frames that can be removed and maybe even glass fronts to protect the works as they increase in value.

You may even stick other things on your walls, like masks or swords or a glass candleholder with a captive fish inside. All of these things are fine and they say a little something about your taste, but is there anything that would turn you off? What is someone had a giant picture of a naked man or woman above the bed? What if they have Brittany Spears posters all over their living room? What if their idea of art was having a RealDoll resting in the corner, looking on? A person’s tastes are important to me. I’d need someone who shared interests or at least had a little style that I liked. I couldn’t deal with Brittany and may not be able to do the naked picture above the bed. The RealDoll though . . . ;)

Re: giant naked pictures over the bed - I would think it was gross unless they were EXTREMELY artistic, and he had better not be recognizable as one of the subjects!

Yeah, naked people in the bedroom would be a little freaky for me. But I also find floral art freaky so I'm not sure what that says!

First, thanks for posting on my blog. I'm glad you did so I could find my way here...

I'd like to add to this post that I was once turned off by a man who had Cat and Kitten pics all over his house. Not very manly if you ask me.

On top of that, he had a foo-foo dog! Again, not manly.

If you want to have a foo-foo dog, counter it by having a masculine apartment. Women will wonder if you are just using them as a front for your inability to come out of the closet.
