FrenchFriendFinder.com provides an environment for lovers of French culture to get together. Unfortunately, there is very little information in a profile that is shared unless you become a paying member. The only thing you can really do for free is send signs of interest. The good news, though, is that when you make a search the site will let you know when a person signed on last. From a technical viewpoint this site is great, and it's also quite affordable. Note that free members cannot organize results based on distance.
