BBWCupid.com was a new site when we first visited it. Over a year later, we still can't find any data on our third-party traffic site about how many visitors it attracts. It is much like any other Web personals site. It has all the services that you've come to expect, but, admittedly, there is one major limitation that I will get into shortly. At least the design of the site is pleasant enough and the interface is simple to use. The benefits of upgrading are clear, while free members can reply to messages for free.

First, though, let me explain what I consider to be the greatest limitation of BBWCupid, which should become evident while you're filling out the information for a free profile. You're not required to give a zip or postal code, so you can't use this info to do local searches. Even if you upgrade for advanced search options, you will only be able to search by other criteria besides detailed location.

At first blush, you might not think that you can narrow your search radius to anything beyond the state or province within a country. However, I realized that I had overlooked an option on the site and it does give slightly more specific location results. If you do any basic search and then scroll down to the bottom of the results page, you'll find some additional criteria fields. You can, in fact, filter by cities in a list of dropdown city names.

You'll see last login info and full profile details, so that's useful. As already mentioned, it's free to respond to emails or instant messages from premium members, which means that someone might message you before you upgrade. If you do pay for a membership, you can contact anyone on the site. Both these points work in the site's favor.

For upgraded subscribers, there are also chat rooms. If you pay for the more expensive of the two membership options, you'll enjoy access to video introductions and can even send video messages by email or instant messaging. There is also voice messaging built into both those interfaces. Some of this stuff kind of seems like bells and whistle to me. All the same, if you're talking to someone far away, it could make the interaction more personal.

I already explained that we have no outside data to confirm the current traffic on the site, so it's difficult to judge what the future will hold in terms of its popularity. I will say, though, that it comes from a company that has created many successful online dating sites. BBW Cupid should only get better with time.

A typical scumbag site which plasters FREE all over the front pages and blatantly lies in saying ABSOLUTELY 100% FREE! and provides no way that I could find of seeing how much anything costs without having signed up first. All you see is FREE FREE FREE ... until you have signed up, created a profile to puff up their member numbers, then go to contact someone. Very poor business ethic.

I personally quite appreciate your effort on this site as I have find it easier to communicate to many friend all over the world through this site.However effort should be made to help some of us who like to subscribe but there re no means as our moving to another enviroment made it so difficult to have credit cards.I should have subscribe since I find it helpful than other site I have visted.
