BBWCupid.com is a new site, so there isn't any information available on how many visitors it has attracted so far. It is much like any other Web personals site, with all the services that you've come to expect, but, admittedly, there is one major limitation that I will get into shortly. Nevertheless, the design of the site is pleasant enough and the interface is simple to use. The benefits of upgrading to a paid membership are clear, while free members are not left in the position of being impossible to contact.

First, though, let me explain what I consider to be the greatest limitation of BBW Cupid. It should be evident while you are filling out the information for a free profile that you are not required to give a zip or postal code, therefore there are no localized search results. Even if you upgrade for advanced search options, you will only be able to search by additional criteria other than detailed location. You cannot narrow your search radius to anything smaller than a country and state or province at first blush.

However, I realized that I had overlooked an option on the site that does give slightly more specific location results. If you do any search then scroll down to the bottom of the results page, you will find an area to update your search that includes some additional fields missing from the search engine on the homepage. You can, in fact, search by city at least.

You will also see the last login time of the other members as well as their full profiles, which may be helpful in determining how many people closer to your local area are actually active subscribers. Moreover, always working in favor of the site is that it is free to respond to emails or instant messages from premium members. That means that one might contact you before you upgrade, or if you do choose to upgrade you will have access to communicate with anyone on the site.

For upgraded subscribers to BBW Cupid, there are also group chat rooms. Moreover, if you pay for the more expensive of two membership options, you will enjoy access to video introductions and even the use of video email. Actually, you can also use video in instant messages, and there is voice messaging built into both the instant messaging software and as voicemail attached to your onsite inbox.

Obviously, without any outside data available about current site traffic it is difficult to judge what the future will hold for this site's popularity. I will say that it comes from a company that has created many successful online dating sites. BBWCupid.com should only get better with time.
