BBW Personals Plus is a site designed with big, beautiful women and their admirers in mind. The "plus" at the end of the name might seem a lame attempt at a plus-sized reference. However, the site does in fact offer more than mere dating profiles to browse. You will discover a real online community. The site goes well beyond merely the singles looking for friendship and love. Let's discuss if this site has more pluses than minuses in the end.

The profile process is done right on BBWPersonalsPlus. You're asked to complete all the usual details about your personal appearance. However, the issue of weight is addressed with a unique balance of candor and sensitivity. You will also notice that not only full-figured women are mentioned in the dropdown menu. As a guy, you can also choose to describe yourself as big and handsome.

You can do free localized searches. You can look for people within 10 miles of home. You can do it based upon your zip or postal code. You also have the opportunity to narrow down your results by all the other criteria included in the profile process. Then if you click the profile summaries, you can see the full details for each person. Their last login info is clearly displayed. That makes it easy to know how many active members live close to you.

Although you get free, full access to the search features, the same can't be said of the contact options. Both parties need to be premium subscribers in order to exchange mail. You can't even read messages from paying members before upgrading. That's a serious drawback. Not just for the folks checking out the site for free but also for those who decide to sign up to a monthly plan.

It's free to reply to instant messages, at least. Otherwise, BBWPersonalsPlus.com offers chat rooms and message boards, too. Those you can check out free. In other words, although you need to pay to use email, there are other options to explore for making free connections. There is also some dating advice and online safety tips to read. You'll definitely not feel as if you're faced with going it alone on this site.

One thing that has changed on this site - and it's not for the better - is the price. They've raised it by about 30 percent. Nevertheless, it still costs a bit less than some other sites. The site also seems to have maintained a decent level of popularity in the past. BBW Personals Plus allows you to experience enough of its services to make it worth checking out before buying.

Not happy w/site. Men have email addy in profiles, women get edited out. I paid for site, but couldnt tell if the guys had paid...so, no response to emails....I did not realize they couldnt even read my email to them. I paid, and could not get to the men I wanted to talk to unless a stayed online and happened to catch them via IM. (which doesnt work most of the time!!) Hated the site!!!!!

I love the site, I have been on numerous dates. Just steer clear of the messaging boards cause their are a bunch of miserable men and women who can t get dates. Just look at their pictrues.

Been a member for over three years, paying sometimes but not always. Even when you pay and have the option to IM it almost always knocks your new maybe friend, off line !!! Very frustrating. If you try to sneak your email address in your profile as a woman you get yelled at by KAREN, the keeper of the site, but oddly enough the men seem to do it with no problem.

Well designed site. Only problem was women from out of my area sending me smiles. They need a preview membership ( maybe 1 week ) for a nominal fee to try out all aspects of the website. Recommended if BBWs are who you are looking for.

I found the site to be nothing more than a hang out for people who have no life outside the net. They really think the site is theirs and are not welcoming to new members.The odd thing is, the site will boot new members , yet keep the old crew who are causing all the problems and giving the site a bad name.They are not heir to date, just antagonize.Adm. is terrible!~
