I started the process of signing up for a free account with my mind as open as possible. Many steps could be skipped, but I was prompted to write about myself and about whom I wanted to meet on Camazon. Access is extremely limited before paying. You can search profiles and narrow the results down to your local area to within a mile of your home location.

You can view complete profile details and last login date. You can flirt as well, but chatting or instant messaging requires a paid membership. Unfortunately, even if you receive communication from a paid subscriber, you cannot reply before upgrading to a premium subscription. You can view an instant message, but you won't even be able to read your email.

I had the chance to experience the premium service and found that it changed things completely. However, a free glimpse of the profiles with limited interaction made it seem as if it resembled most adult dating sites. Some main profile pics on Camazon were considerably more revealing than other personals sites allow, but it still seemed to register as average on the explicit meter. Once I visited using the paid account, I discovered there is considerably more X-rated stuff involved.

Besides subscriber-submitted erotic texts, there are videos that in some cases go way beyond softcore nudity. Other adult extras include cam performers who will chat privately for a per minute rate in addition to the monthly subscription fee, as well as several video feeds of truly hardcore content. It's as if you're getting a chance to dabble both in the possibility of meeting someone real living near you, as well as experiencing virtual adult diversions in the realm of fantasy rather than in reality.

In summary, Camazon.com offers the standard web personals experience, including instant messaging, live video chat and email. You do have to pay to send or receive messages, but free local searches help to confirm how many active members live near you. Secondly, you're receiving some hot extras of a truly adult nature when you upgrade to a paid membership. For Camazon to bring real connections, rather than virtual, voyeuristic flirtations with strangers would ideally require owning a webcam of one's own. I may just be off to buy one!
