Dancing Flirt proposes more than just finding a dance partner. In fact, there really isn't much specifically involved with dancing on the site at all. Sure, you can mention that you like to dance as a hobby. However, you can't specify what kind of dance you're into or can do. It's just a general dating site in the end. I will state right away that I am a tad apprehensive about the authenticity of some of the folks on this site.

The moment I signed up, I received a message from someone. I hadn't provided even the bare minimum of information that most sites require. I had simply created a login and supplied an email address. Within seconds of signing into the site, I was added to someone's hotlist. I then received an invitation to chat with her on instant messaging. I would have needed to pay straightaway to start the conversation though.

That's the thing with DancingFlirt.com. Little is free beyond searching. You can do local searches by zip code in the United States. Several other countries have the option to look in select cities that appear listed after you choose a broader region. You can also further filter your results. You can pick to only see profiles with photos, audio or video clips and you can also search for just the members who are online. Using other criteria requires you to pay.

It is hard to tell who is an active member on DancingFlirt. You can only see if someone is on or offline. There's no last login info and you can't see their level of membership. You won't see anyone's full profile either. The system generates an intro paragraph that tells you to visit the person's matchmaking criteria. You can only view that part of their profile if you upgrade.

You must also upgrade to access the site's chat rooms. You can apparently send free emails or e-cards though. All the same, everyone has to upgrade in order to read and reply to emails. That means the other person has to be a paid member to read your message. In turn, if the other person replies to your message, you would have to upgrade to read their response. In other words, any useful exchange with someone requires both parties to be paid members. That limits how many connections you can make on the site.

The only good thing the site really has going for it is its price. It charges about half of what many sites charge if you take the cheaper of its two premium membership options. All the same, Dancing Flirt has little popularity and some questionably fast contacts, so you might want to think twice before joining.
