Forgetting each year how bad winter is and then complaining about how hot it is in summer is necessary to ensure I’m never truly satisfied with the weather. The same happened when I returned to this site and began filling out a profile for this network. Realistically, the profile required wasn’t that long, but it annoys me when there unimportant details that nevertheless are required, like “my favorite movie director.” Yeah, I can see how that’s all that’s been standing in my way from meeting the mate of my dreams. I have never been open about liking the Coen Brothers, but now is the time!

The home page right away shows me some matches based on the information I filled out in my description. I can review all the profile details for free. I can send up to 30 winks (a power nap’s worth) a day to anybody I like. If someone sends me a wink, I can reply to it without upgrading my subscription. That’s the point that makes the difference here from the same company’s mainstream offering: much more free access. I can also reply to e-mails and instant messages sent to me at no charge. I have to give Glimpse a 9/10 for free access since theoretically you could make a connection with someone without paying a dime.

As far as extra content, I found it a little tricky to find since it wasn’t in a typical drop-down menu. There was more than first met the eye, though. Join a chat that’s free to everyone. Enjoy professional dating advice and even peruse some travel articles. Use the compatibility “click” system here, too. Review profiles then select, yes, no or maybe. Yes, will send your description to that member mixed in with a few random others and if he/she responds with a “yes” then you’ve just found someone with whom you “click.” “No” will remove the rejected profile from future searches, while “Maybe” leaves the judgement to be made again at a later date. This process definitely facilitates better matches and more efficient searches.

I was fooled initially into thinking this site was just a copy of American Singles as the interface looked the same, but you definitely get much more for free. Upgrading to premium will allow you full freedom in contacting others. Believe me, proactively introducing yourself to others is far more effective than waiting to be reached. The fact that free subscribers can respond to you means that you will never waste your time or money on Glimpse by making the first move.
