High Joy is set up similarly to many online dating sites, yet it certainly offers something that most don’t. It's about virtual sex, first and foremost. The site is designed to work with special vibrators that can be controlled by another person over the Internet. If you think you can jump onto High Joy and perhaps find someone to date, you might be disappointed. The site just doesn’t have the huge membership numbers you'll see on other web personals. However, if you’re looking for “good vibrations” you might just receive all that you seek. Here’s how it stacked up against our criteria.

However, when I tried to check it out later I got the prompt to upgrade first.

The only area that does seem accessible to everyone is the message boards, which are relatively active. Some subscribers have mentioned in their posts that they had a hard time finding anyone online at the same time as they were visiting the site. Timing is everything, I suppose, although as previously mentioned only a few members are equipped with the virtual tools to do justice to the unique experience offered by the site.

I did notice that in recent site news, there's mention of an article in a major newspaper out of Toronto, Canada. I would hope that such mainstream publicity might help to bolster interest in the site. As it stands, High Joy hasn't quite reached a high point as far as attracting enough members to make it worthwhile to join.
