I Need A Man 911 is a dating site for gay and bisexual males with an eye towards casual hookups. That's not to say that the urgency implied by the emergency number at the end of the name precludes people from joining for other reasons, but just to explain what most folks on the site are looking for, it would seem. For now, the site seems to lack traffic, but let me explain why that might be the case in my opinion.

Little is free on the site. It seems to me as if they've opted to offer a highly competitive monthly membership rate instead. I'm not sure whether I consider it reasonable to expect that someone will buy before knowing what INeedAMan911.com really has to offer. For example, basic searches are limited to city and country with only the US offering an option for state as well.

"You can send and receive five emails per day before upgrading..."

You can't really get a clear picture of how local other members are to you. If you click on the link for advanced searches, it immediately informs you that you need to upgrade to access that features. The problem is that I couldn't find any info on what extra options were included in the upgraded search engine.

You won't get to see any member's details beyond an extremely brief summary description and a small thumbnail image. It is unclear, or at least unstated, if upgrading allows you to see pertinent details such as last login date, although obviously you can see profile details and all the person's posted pics.

There are no message boards on INeedAMan911, but for paid subscribers, there is live chat and instant messaging, besides unlimited emails. You can send and receive five emails per day before upgrading, so technically, there is some free contact opportunity for unpaid members. Again, there did seem to be limited information on some of the features before being prompted to upgrade.

Other extra features include such things as the ability to create a secondary profile in another country, or city, to which you plan to travel, so you can make connections with locals while away from home. Paid subscribers can update their profiles as often as they like, while before paying, you can only make changes once a month. Upgraded members can also keep track of the profiles that they find the hottest in something they call your private "man file."

Overall, I'd say I Need A Man 911 needs to work on promoting itself more to attract greater numbers of visitors and should consider allowing complete profile details including last login date to be visible to everyone as a way to encourage free members to upgrade to paid subscriptions.
